North Lincolnshire based hairdresser, Kirby Blythe is an award winning* stylist with years of experience behind her in all aspects of her discipline. Having been trained with Scunthorpe's leading salon, she has also spent time in London where she was taught at the Schwarzkopf Professional Academy.

In 2004, Kirby was honored as the UK Student Hairdresser of the Year out of a huge 15,000 applicants from across the British Isles. To add to this, the following year she came runner up in the same category.

With all her experience and accolades behind her, Kirby now run's her own Salon, which is based in Messingham, Scunthorpe. Hair by Kirby Blythe opened in early 2009 and offers clients top quality service at a fair price and in a warm and friendly environment.

As well as her daily commitments to her salon, Kirby is also a wedding & prom specialist, offering her talents as a stylist to help people prepare for their special day. All birdal consultations with Kirby are completely free which would usually be followed by trials to build up an idea of what the client wants for the occasion to make sure that everything is perfect down to the smallest detail.

To be made a part of someone's special day is a true honor and Kirby thoroughly enjoys providing her skills for such big occasions.

Ideally, it is best to book with her as early as possible to allow plenty of planning time and also to ensure that she is available for the event. If you liaise with Kirby and let her know the type of thing you have in mind then she will work with you leading up to the day to make sure everything is absolutely perfect. Trials and consultations for the make-up of the bridal party can also be arranged.

By the time the big day comes around, all the planning and ground work will have been done to ensure that everything goes smoothly. All the trials and discussions leading up to the day of the event will enable you to fully enjoy it. The aim is to make you look and feel fabulous for the entire day so you don't have to be constantly worrying about the wear and tear on your hairstyle on such a big and important occasion.

Everyone in the bridal party can be catered for by Kirby so long as she is made aware of this in the early stages of the planning. Kirby is also happy to come to where ever she is needed on the day, whether is be at your home or the venue. It is also possible for you to go the hair salon for this if it suits your plans better. The aim is to suit your needs and Kirby is more than happy to work your plan for the day.
